I still don’t see why adults ask teenagers if they watch the news regularly. The answer is generally obvious, and therefore there’s no need to be disappointed. Most teenagers do not watch the news on a regular basis. I did today, however and was greeted with some sad news.
1. The floods in Pakistan are out of control. They need aid btw.
2. A vast number of wildfires are burning up Russia.
3. Some lady’s torso was found in a bush in Australia.
So do you see now? The news is depressing. That is why teenagers don’t watch the news-or at least, that’s why I don’t.
The next time a parent makes a big deal about violence in a video game, book or movie, I’ll be tempted to make them watch the news for an hour.
